People Are Taking Drugs On YouTube To Keep You Safe

Dutch public broadcaster BBN, have an online series that we could never fathom being made in Australia.

The Youtube channel Drugslab takes place in a lab and shows young “scientists” trying out different drugs and explaining their effects on the body.

The weekly show claims to “provide you of safe methods of use, safe doses, the effects, the risks and very useful do’s and don’ts when high on drugs.”

It also says that they do not recommend taking drugs as all of the drug taking is done by professionals (apparently professional drug taker is a thing) or under professional supervision.

With Australia and in particular New South Wales’ war on drugs not going too hot, could this form of education be a helpful alternative to the complete crackdown that we’re currently getting? Check out the channel here and tell us what you think, at the very least it’s good for a laugh!

BNN is a youth aimed Dutch broadcaster and Drugslab is a part of their “Spuiten en Slikken” (translated as Shoot and Swallow) program about sexuality and drugs.
