Dust off the iPod shuffle, charge it up and give this one a whirl – it’ll certainly be on there.
MSTRKRFT’s ‘Bounce’ is one of those tracks that has embedded itself into any dance music lover’s psyche. It served as an internationally recognised house party anthem with it’s distorted instrumentals and catchy vocals, alongside Steve Aoki’s ‘Warp’ and ‘D.A.N.C.E‘ by Justice. What a time to be alive and listening to music?
The original was released in 2008, along with a handful of remixes from the likes of ">The Bloody Beetroots and ">Felix Cartel, but it also featured on MSTRKRFT’s 2009 album ‘Fist Of God‘, and is by far the most renowned cut from that dance-floor-friendly LP.
Give it a re-listen below and fall deeply into the pool of fluro t-shirt nostalgia.
