Exactly ten years ago today, Deadmau5 released his very first official single, titled ‘Faxing Berlin’.
The dreamy, progressive-house effort was picked up by BBC Radio 1 legend Pete Tong, thanks to Joel’s good friend Chris Lake who past it on. After being premiered, the relatively unknown 25-year-old producer started turning heads. The track caught the attention of Tiesto and Mark Knight, and then the momentum started to build.
This soothing, taste-making track was later made the lead single on Deadmau5′ debut album, Random Album Title.
