Home-grown producer Strict Face has released his highly anticipated new EP ‘Rain Cuts’.

The enigmatic beat-smith has been constructing an impressive reputation over the past year with stellar releases via Nina Las Vegas’ local imprint NLV Records that have been turning heads due to his experiemtnal take on music production.

In his latest 6-track project, Strict Face channels an ambient yet technical approach. Each track quite unique in their construction, with a reoccurring oriental tone that ties everything together.

Tracks like ‘Rainfall’ and ‘The Calm’ depict his more elegant approach to his production, with their slow, droning builds and subtle soundscapes. Whereas ‘White Rovers’  – on the other side of the spectrum – conveys a more technical and instrumentally layered approach.

‘Honour Avenue’ is a stand out track this project, with it’s heavy, rolling bass line that acts as the foundation laid out for Strict Face to then build upon.
