Melbourne based promoters Konnekt’d  & Bushtechno  are bringing down Gavin Lynch, aka Matador.  marking the Irishman’s first time touring in the land down under. Based in Dublin, Lynch comes from a sound engineering background and has been releasing under the “Matador” name since 2007 with his first release on Aciitone records. Since then, Gavin’s works have been featured on Perc Trax and Sleaze, amongst others. In 2011, Matador released on Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 and Minus (M-nus) record label, helping push his name out to the masses.

He went on to debut at the revered Watergate in Berlin then performed at a multitude of Minus events including a residency that summer at Enter in Space, Ibiza. This also led to various festival invitations with visits to Monegros, Balaton Sound, Time Warp, Creamfields Argentina, Melt Festival, BPM, Exit Festival, Movement Detroit and many more in just a few short years.

Matador is set to put on a show as he just won best electronic live performer at electronic music awards.
