The ever-entertaining Seth Troxler recently recorded his third Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 live at Brooklyn’s Output nightclub, and it is finally up and ready to grace your ears.
Output – located in Williamsburg – has been described by Troxler as one of his favourite venues. “If you want underground music, there is nowhere better in America,” says the DJ and producer who held a quarterly residency there in 2014.
The mix is chock-full of unreleased goodies as well as well known dance floor anthems, stretching for a blissful 2-hours of pure vibe. Definitely a nice way to spend your afternoon.
Kicking off the mix is a brief chat between the Detroit-based selector and the king of Essssssssential himself, Pete Tong. In this conversation, Seth further describes Output a place where “everything kind of started”.
“Output was one of the first clubs to reintroduce modern clubbing in a classic way“.
