The king of groove Harvey Sutherland has finally made some new music and just dropped a zesty teaser of what is to come.
The Melbourne-based selector, producer and overall swell dude has been fairly quiet of late, with this latest offering following last year’s cuts for MCDE- meaning us fans have been waiting for a good while for some new music. But great things do take time, and truer words have never been spoken in this case.
The first taste of his upcoming project is great insight into where Sutherland is moving with his production. Each track is instrumentally vivd; layered with synth, keys, violin as well as a thick, textural kick that blends everything together.
The ‘Priestess/Bravado‘ 12-inch is set to release on November 4 via his own, local imprint Clarity Recordings.
