Hardcore Producer Takes Out ‘Highest House’ Award At DJ Mag Top 100

At this point I don’t think many people are taking much notice of the DJ Mag awards anymore, especially with the often bland, predictable and re-appearing talent that get’s ranked by the public into a Top 100.

This year Martin Garrix took out the number 1 spot, making him the youngest ever ‘artist’ to win the award followed by last years winners Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and that other EDM guy Hardwell rounding out the top 3. Special mention must got to Daft Punk for nabbing #72 even though they are yet to perform this year!

The biggest question mark over the evening was when Hardstyle producer Angerfist took out the ‘Highest House’ award on the night.

According to a source someone leaked his forthcoming house track to DJ Mag who decided it to be the track of the year beating out a number of tireless and hard working producers with current releases… the kind already available and being played by DJs around the country.

No hate for Angerfist, but COME ON! If the aforementioned rumours are true, this is truly ridiculous.

Here is the top 10 list for you to laugh at check out. Some very familiar faces, once again.
