Today in “headlines you thought you’d only see late last decade”, Empire of the Sun have released their latest album ‘Two Vines’ over the weekend, and it’s streaming right now via Spotify.

The local duo’s last record ‘Ice on the Dune’ came out a little over three years ago, and never quite made the same mark as their debut ‘Walking on a Dream’. That album’s namesake single was featured in an American Honda ad earlier this year though, and the duo again saw some huge commercial success, with the track breaking into the Billboard charts and bringing them back into relevance. It’s no surprise then that they decided to go for it again really.

‘Two Vines’ is a return to the super blissed out electropop that made them famous in the first place. There’s plenty move and shake to on this record, and it’s easy listening that can cater to almost everyone’s music taste. Check it out below, has the wait been worth it?
