New York City MC Princess Nokia has just released a brand new EP, 1992.

The highly anticipated project has a very nostalgic, 90s hip-hop tone from start to finish, reflective the title 1992. Each track is built on her powerful vocals and lyricism, so much so that the focus tends to drift away from the impressive array of producers who helped bring this EP together.

Artists such as A-Trak, Lex Luger and David A Doman are among the broad selection of beat-smiths who laid down the instrumental factors to the EP, creating a subtle foundation for the more domineering vocal side of the project to shine through.

Some personal stand-out tracks from Princess Nokia on this offering include Tomboy and Saggy Denim, which features Ratking’s Wiki.
