In what is one of the funniest stories we’ve come across via TripleM, an Aussie mum has reached out to a local nightclub with concerns that her son spends too much time and money at the venue.

The Empire Nightclub in the Victorian suburb of Narre Warren was contacted earlier this month by a very concerned mum, whose son has been frequenting the joint on a weekly basis since turning 18 in March.

Her message to the club reads as follows:

To whom it may concern, My son, BLANK has been attending your nightclub on a weekly basis since he turned 18 in March.

I’m in control of his bank accounts & have noticed all of his money has been spent at your venue on a Saturday night. BLANK is currently studying year 12 and his father and I are worried that not only is he not saving a cent, but he is beginning to fall behind on his school work.

I’ve spoken to BLANK on several occasions but he is struggling to see the big picture. I’d like to request you to impose a ‘ban’ on my son until the end of exams period (November).

Please get back to me ASAP.

This was soon followed up by a message from the son, who contacted the club with his own, and typically contradictory message which reads as follows:

Hey guys this is kinda embarrassing but I think my mum just messaged your page.

Unfortunatly my mums a bitch & is immune to having fun, can you just tell her that you’ll ban me.

Thanks guys, see you Saturday.

The screenshots were posted on Empire’s Facebook, and have since gained over 2.3K shares and nearly 20K likes. Talk about a family drama.
