Deadmau5 has been a very busy dude of late, spending a lot of time in the studio and in turn pushing out some gems.

The latest offering from Zimmerman is an unreleased tune titled ‘Cat Thruster‘ that featured in his recent live stream. The track is an over 6-minute endurance effort that channels some classic, electro tones that resonate greatly with some of his earlier works.

The track gradually builds for the first half, before levelling out at around the 4-minute mark, changing up the tone and then building back into full swing once more before playing out. This track follows a classic and well executed progressive house formula that honestly has us feeling quite nostalgic.

It is not confirmed to be featured on Deadmau5’s forthcoming album, but if this is the general vibe he going for, we can rest assured it will be a good listen when it finally drops!
