Having released their ‘On Repeat’ EP over four months ago to some big love country-wide, Melbourne duo Godwolf are back again with the video for ‘Feels Right’, their first in quite some time.

Before we tuck into it properly, the director of the video Max Miller gave us a few words on the reasoning behind the clip:

“Our intention with ‘Feels Right’ was to create a fractured narrative that evokes a unique, uplifting and freeing emotion from the viewer. Through a series of scattered scenes we peek into the nomadic lifestyle of two girls on the run. We don’t know who or what they’re fleeing from, but that isn’t the end goal – the important thing now is to be in the moment. Shot over many stunning locations throughout Victoria such as the Dandenongs and around the Peninsula, this is a nomadic experience for both the girls and the viewer. Marrying the upbeat synths with naturalistic and unique visuals to evoke a hopeful, bright and naturalistic vibe.”  

The visuals of the two girls running away brings about the feeling of the music, particularly the visuals, perfectly. ‘Feels Right’ as a track is about doing what you want, not necessarily what you should, and for a moment we’re able to live vicariously through these two girls in a number of gorgeous and homegrown locations. We’re whisked away to a place with no responsibilities, and the clip’s one you’ll have on repeat to try and stay there.

Also Lindsay Lohan really likes it too, so you know it’s gotta be good.
