This Video Game Runs On The Rhythm Of Dubstep

Rhythmic video games are not a recent creation. We’e seen it with Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and more recently with Crypt of the NecroDancer. Howveer this most recent instalment of groove gaming is quite different.

DubWars is an electronic dance music video game that was launched on July 19, and has since been turning a lot of heads with its curious angle of gameplay. The video featured below sees Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins of Penny Arcade delve into the game, displaying and describing the factors of the DubWars as they play.

In short, you are controlling a small spaceship that reacts to the music you are playing. Every sound from the track effects the way in which the Spaceship reacts, and attacks.
