Soul Clap Share First Cut From Their New Album!

Soul Clap have shared the first tease from their upcoming album which is set to drop on October 14 via !K7 Records.

The track – titled ‘Shine (This Is It)’ – is a disco-funk flavoured thumper, with vocals coming from Nona Hendryx, formerly of the band Labelle. The track also came with a handful of remixes from the likes of Dimitri From Paris and DJ Rocca, aka Erodiscotique.

The highly anticipated sophomore LP from the musical duo of Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine has been a elongated effort from the Boston-based producers, who declared in a Facebook post that the album comes after “4 years of recording, experimenting, arranging and mixing.”

Speaking on the album, Levine says it “digs deep into our funky souls and turns our wildest dreams into sound. If our first album, ‘EFUNK’, was an attempt to create a blueprint using our past inspirations, then “Soul Clap” is the beautiful skyscraper, standing tall as it looks to the future”.

Listen to ‘Shine (This Is It)’ below along with the reworks and mark down October 14 on the calendar.
