Last week, the 76-year-old legend was the centre of attention on Reddit for an AMA (ask me anything) hosted by r/Electronicmusic, where he answered everything from his favourite synth too who he will be collaborating with in the near future, and with that came some interesting insight…
Rumour has it that a few years ago there was an unreleased collaboration with Skrillex for TRON, and when asked about this we received the excitingly mysterious response of “To be continued…”
Furthermore, when quizzed over potential artists he would like/is going to work with in the future he inconclusively answered with ‘Rihanna’.
Giorgio Moroder is a mysterious man, although it wouldn’t be the first time he has thrown a collaborative spanner. David Bowie, Donna Summer, Britney Spears, Sia, Kylie Minogue, Blondie more recently Daft Punk and many more.
The AMA also uncovered his musical tastes, with Giorgio revealing his favourite artists at the moment as Skrillex, David Guetta, Marshmello and Martin Garrix.
Giorgio Moroder is said to be head lining NYC’s huge new disco event, I FEEL LOVE, on September 9 and 10.
