In a totally unsurprising revelation, Calvin Harris has taken home the Moon Man for the Best Electronic Video at the 2016 MTV VMAs.
Speaking honestly, we are truly not surprised at this win from the UK producer. When you have a video catalogue such as Harris’, with some added speed boats, cool looking rent-a-crowd extras and one of the most talked about models of the past 2-years in Gigi Hadid acting as the protagonist, you really can’t lose, can you?
The video doesn’t really follow any specific storyline, besides just following Gigi around as she looks amazing with a few throw-away shots of the aforementioned speed boats and extras.
But I guess that’s just the formula for how to make the ‘best’ music video. Check out the video below, as well as the fellow nominees. Any videos you think should have made the cut?
