It’s always a great when artists pay homage to their roots and remix classic songs that we might not have otherwise heard of before. 25 years from it’s original release, UK Duo Bicep have put their upbeat house spin in a rendition of 808 State‘s acclaimed release “In Yer Face“.

The original track was experimental for it’s time – incorporating 808’s trademark elements of video game elements. Bicep have managed to incorporate their own subtle, feel good house stylings for a more stripped, minimal version, recontextualising the song to suit what we hear at parties nowadays.

Andy Ferguson and Matt McBriar – the guys behind Bicep – will be bringing their feel good house set to the east coast of Australia later this September.
