It may come as a shock to some, but Norwegian powerhouse producer Lido had a musical life before entering the world of electronic dance music.

It is no secret he can sing, but were you aware of how well he can rap? The big fans may already know about it, but we have stumbled across an old music video from Lido – or as he was known back then as LidoLido – titled ‘Go’n Be Gone‘, which sounds a whole lot like current Aussie hip-hop.

Like, a lot.

The 2009-released film clip portrays Lido slapping high-fives with his homies, rapping in the studio and checking out girls all wrapped up under a sepia filter. It’s very ">Lil’ Romeo-esque.
