Remember how excited we were last time? Well, like a Knight in shining armour, the Don himself Darude is coming back down under for a stacked Australia and New Zealand tour.

This Finnish DJ really needs no introduction – unless of course you have been living under a rock long enough to sleep on the global phenomenon that was the resurrection of his 2001 dance music anthem, ‘Sandstorm’, leading to a crowd funding effort to bring him to Australia which actually resulted in a spot on the Future Music Festival (RIP) bill back in 2015.

That was a mouthful, BUT the man is coming back! The meme lives on!

Darude has announced an 8-stop and growing tour that kicks off in Christchurch on Thursday, September 8^th, before venturing across the pond for shows in Canberra, Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Perth.

The 41-year-old selector has been a busy man of late, and kudos to him for taking full advantage of his reborn career. He is fresh off the back of a massive US tour and only last year released his fourth studio album ‘Moments’.

So does a tour from the lord himself sound good? Well in Darude’s own words: “My 2015 tour in Australia was such a blast, I can’t wait to touch down under again in September and party with you!”
