Skepta Announces Major Support Act For Tour Down Under

Words By Sarah Tonkin

It didn’t feel like that long ago since UK’s Grime lord Skepta left Australia having performed earlier in the year at Brisbane’s FOMO Festival and Sydney’s Field Day. After his highly praised release ‘Shutdown’ swept the nation further into the UK Grime scene, Skepta‘s back with his brand new album ‘Konnichiwa’ plus a headline tour down under.

So don’t worry if you developed a fear of missing out when you didn’t get tickets for FOMO or Field Day this year because now is your chance to see him in the flesh in one these four cities, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne (sorry Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin and Hobart).

To follow up with some more exciting news for our grime fans, Skepta’s also thrown in a major support act to make his tour even bigger.

Hailing from Tottenham, please welcome FRISCO to the line up! FRISCO has been a key figure in the London’s grime scene with his long awaited debut LP released in April this year. With FRISCO featuring on Skepta’s remix of Jamie xx‘s ‘I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)’, these two will bring some serious heat to their tour and we can’t wait!

More dates and venues have been added due to the rapid sell-out once the tour was announced in May BUT be sure to grab your tickets ASAP here because there’s only a handful left and they’re selling out very fast.

Check out below to see when Skepta and FRISCO will touchdown in your city.
