English hip-hop recording artist M.I.A is about to release her fifth studio album this year titled ‘A.I.M’ via Interscope Records on September 9th. It will feature her brand-new single ‘Go Off” which is available to download now.

‘Go Off’ combines “a hypnotic, bass-heavy amalgam of hip-hop, electro, and global beats” with none other than Skrillex and Blaqstarr being the masterminds behind M.I.A‘s track.

‘Go Off’ premiered on July 14 along with a video clip the next day directed by M.I.A herself. The video contains little clips of “controlled underground explosions in different settings that capture the fiery nature of the song”.

‘Borders’ was released earlier this year and was the first single to be released off M.I.A‘s fifth studio album. ‘Borders’ “addressed the refugee crisis and the current global state affairs – a topic that M.I.A holds close to her” with the song’s concept shown through the video that’s already gained more than 2.7 million views.
