Local Coolum Resident Wins Splendour In The Grass With One Post

This bloke just won Splendour In The Grass.

Taking to Splendour’s Facebook event page with a cry for help post concerning the loss of a certain ‘instrument of leisure’, Pat Mcculkin – a resident of the Sunshine Coast suburb of Coolum, famous for it’s mountain, laid back atmosphere and life-size tyrannosaurus rex sculpture courtesy of Clive Palmer – single handily spun some of the finest yarn of the week, if not year.

In his own words, here is what Pat’s post declared:

“Alright here’s the deal, got full stitched up last night. I was just cookin along, not a problem in the world. Thought I’d head back to camp after flume to hang out with billy Wong, and to my absolute disbelief some full scumbag had come past and nabbed me billy from camp and left me high and dry. Now we’re stuck in the fucking camp site punching cannies. Cheers mate”

Is a bit of honesty too much to ask? Lets be honest, Pat looks like a good bloke, he certainly would have let the thief have a beug and be on their way. But to rob a man OF his beug? Unheard of.

For the record, we do not condone drug taking, nor does Splendour In The Grass. But, we do condone mateship and good karma.
