The last time we heard from Melbourne duo Fortunes. was following their remix of Penthouse and Maribelle’s sultry banger ‘About You’. Today the boys are well and truly back in town, hitting two for two on their latest remix, of Polographia’s latest single ‘Sly’.

While the original had a surfy, psychedelic style sound to it that Polographia has become known for, Fortunes have injected a jumpy feeling into ‘Sly’ that makes it even more dance-floor suitable. From the get go, what had been echoey guitars and percussion are now beats and notes with much more punch. It’s like the original licks have been put through an old school toy lazer gun, firing shots at your feet and forcing you to funk along. All the while though, it maintains the dreamy nature of the original almost perfectly – a stellar effort.
