As if packing out stadiums and having millions of dollars wasn’t enough for Deadmau5, the masked EDM stalwart has decided to team up with Absolut Labs (who have taken time away from the vodka trade) to bring us a VR video game ingeniously entitled Absolut Deadmau5.

Coupled with new music from the man himself, Absolut Deadmau5 gives players a first hand glimpse at life behind the mask, as you fully immerse yourself into the chilling world of the superstar DJ and producer. This game has it all, from driving through Deadmau5’s hometown of Toronto, petting his cat Meowingtons, to attempting to get to shows and, of course, taking centre stage with the legendary progressive house producer himself as he plays to countless braying hoards of NPC fans. But then again who knows what the game has in store, maybe a tour of his new studio? Or a bonus level where you are able to talk shit on social media? Whatever it is I hope you’re as excited as I am.

But wait! there’s more! We know what you’re thinking: “There can’t be more, I couldn’t take any more…except maybe if I got a cool headset.” Well you’re in luck, Absolut Labs have got you covered with a cardboard headset designed by Deadmau5 for complete submersion in the game.
