Thom Yorke Shares Petition Calling For A Second EU Referendum

Thom Yorke is urging that the UK consider a second Referendum concerning their standing with the EU.

The Radiohead front man has been a big talking point of late – with the band’s ninth studio album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool‘ recently entering the world – and it seems the talking will continue, with Yorke piping up on the topic of the surprising Referendum results that occurred last week in the UK.

Taking to Twitter over the weekend, Yorke shared an article stating the areas that voted to leave will in turn be losing the most.

Following this, it became clear to veteran musician the UK needs a second chance, sharing a petition that urges the nation to try again.

The petition states “We the undersigned call upon HM Government to implement a rule that if the remain or leave vote is less than 60% based a turnout less than 75% there should be another referendum.”

It seems Thom has got to a few people, with signatures reaching upwards of 1.5m and swiftly rising. (Sign HERE)
