L.A. Club Resource frontman Delroy Edwards has released a promo trailer of his track Born Rebels, ahead of his LP’s release, titled Hanging at The Beach.

The ghetto-house producer made a name for himself off his debut 12″ release on L.I.E.S. Records, 4 Club Use Only, starting a minor phenomenon. Since, Edwards has become a lot more unpredictable and changed coursed numerous times with his music career. His three editions of Slowed Down Funk went for free download and were highly popular amongst his fans.

His latest offering, however, seems to look as if he’s gone back towards ghetto-house. Filled with tape-hiss, muddied drums, and warm lo-fi melodies, Born Rebels (in its 30 second teaser) looks as if Edwards is leaning a bit away from heavy kicks and clanging percussion that we’ve seen in his previous releases. Regardless of what he’s aiming for, it definitely sounds like typical Delroy Edwards, and here at the office, we couldn’t be happier.
