We all know that synths can be very costly and complicated and especially with the younger generation becoming heavily involved with the electronic music scene, two dutch parents have put their heads together to come up with an idea to design an innovative and fun synth that’s easy enough for even young infants to use.
Forget Fisher-Price and the knock-off Casio keyboards because the Dato DUO is the next big thing.
The Dato DUO is a gritty sounding synthesizer that’s paired with a flashy sequencer. A fun electronic instrument aimed at kids and adults. It’s best suited for two people, designed to be a super basic and approachable instrument for any curious producer. Its specifications include two fairly basic oscillators (one pule and one sawtooth), a digital low pass filter, an amp envelope, a sample rate reductor, a noise-based percussion synthesizer, an 8-step circular sequencer along with a pentatonic keyboard (two octaves).
Now kids can bond with their parents over deep wub-wubs!
