Burning Man just bought a huge desert ranch

The organisers of Burning Man have recently announced their purchase of a ranch in Nevada desert.

The Fly Ranch is a 3,800 acre property just north of the Burning Man festival grounds, costing a whopping $6.5 million made up from donations, and will allow Burning Man to venture into other ventures during the year as well as their annual festival.

“As a year-round site, Fly Ranch has the potential to expand Burning Man Project’s activities and existing programs, as well as amplify Burning Man’s cultural impact into the wider world beyond Black Rock City,” the Burning Man website post reads.

Burning Man Festival, however, will continue to run at the original location as it does every year.

Check out the Fly Ranch in the following video.
