Australia’s own Anna Lunoe has made history over the weekend, becoming the first solo female artist to perform at the main stage of EDC.

Arguably one of the biggest dance music festivals in the world, EDC has been running for 20 years, hosting the top of the top in the Electronic world; and the former FBi Radio selector Anna Lunoe has broken the record to become the first solo female artist to grace the main stage.

Speaking on this record on a Facebook post, Lunoe said:

“Ten years of non stop grindin. seeing this photo makes me wanna cry. thank u everyone who helped me do this…. we just went down in history.” (see full post here)

Huge shout out to Anna Lunoe for breaking down the wall, and shout out to Krewella who were the first female group to perform at the EDC main stage back in 2014.

Here is hoping more women get a start on the main stage next year!
