Arturia have announced they will be releasing an app that allows eager music makers to use the famous Synclavier Synth used by Michael Jackson.

The vintage Synth has been referred to as the Rolls Royce of the synth world, rising to notoriety in the 80s as a go-to item for production, used on George Michael’s ‘Faith’ and more famously Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.

Arturia have used the software from the original synth to create an app that will allow music makers to access the exact sound capabilities of the original.

The app is available now from the Arturia store, costing you $199 to download, which may sound like a lot to some, but when the actual synth sets you back over $200,000, it is definitely reasonable.
