Steve Aoki Is Caking His Way To Washington DC This Memorial Day Weekend

Clutching #13 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs, Washington DC’s monstrous venue Echostage has booked electronic music acts from old-school heavyweights like Carl Cox to fresh, rookie acts like JAUZ.

From deep house, to trance, to grimy dubstep, Echostage has proven time and time again to be not only a fan favorite, but also an artist favorite. With that being said, on May 29th, Echostage will host the return of Dim Mak Records’ H.B.I.C. Steve Aoki.

Claiming the #10 spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs, Steve Aoki has not only worked with a handful of electronic acts, such as Borgore, Laidback Luke, and Headhunterz, but has collaborated with big names such as Fall Out Boy, Will.I.Am, and Waka Flacka Flame. Known for his cakes taking a plunge (literally) at fans to hype up the crowd for shows, this cake throwing connoisseur has taken his sound to the biggest festivals across the globe such as Mysteryland USASpring Awakening, Hard Summer, Holy Ship!, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, and TomorrowLand.

Additionally, for a double dose of cake to the face, Steve Aoki will also be performing a more intimate set at Club Glow’s newest installation, Soundcheck, on May 30th which features a Memorial Day BBQ.
