Now There’s A Play All About UK Garage

There’s a new play all about UK Garage. Fittingly dubbed ‘With A Little Bit Of Luck’ after the 1999 DJ Luck & MC Neat track of the same name, the play is now touring the UK after receiving some solid reviews.

The play centres around a young woman named Nadia as she parties through a night during the summer of 2001 in London. Featuring live performances of old-school garage tunes, the play is apparently propelled by a blend of traditional theatre and live music, with the end goal being to explore “the legacy of a cultural movement that defined the hopes of a generation.

It sounds like an enjoyable alternative to a traditional club-night. And if it somehow makes it’s way to Australia we’ll let you know. In the meantime, have a listen to the track from which this play got its name.
