Lotto Winner Opens Record Store

A man in the UK has opened a record store with his Lotto winnings.

Adrian Bayford – the winner of £148 million in the Euromillions Lotto of 2012 – opened Black Barn Records over the weekend, a second-hand record store located in Cambridge.

As mentioned, the store deals in second hand records as well as well as music and film memorabilia.

This isn’t the first music related purchase from the uber-rich Brit, earlier in the year he picked up over £10,000 of Lady Gaga merch and a rare photo of The Beatles signed by John Lennon right before he died, Cambridge News reports.

Speaking on his new business venture, Bayford says “unlike a lot of the national chains who sell you what they want to sell we cater to what people actually want.”

“Not everyone wants to buy online, we offer a unique experience in the shop, catering from eight-year-olds to 80-year-olds.”

I wonder what else he plans to do with all that cash? Anyway, here is a photo of the man himself in his store holding two Storm Trooper heads. Naturally.

See Masons story MNLOTTO; Multi-millionaire Adrian Bayford has opened a film and music memorabilia store offering punters goods ranging from £2 “pocket money” to £25,000 “car price” items. The much-sought after collectibles on the more expensive side include a Beatles picture which was signed by music legend John Lennon just two weeks before he was gunned down. Speaking on the opening day of Black Barn Records in Cambridge, Cambs, the former postman said: “The shop offers a wide range of interesting music and film memorabilia, with something for everyone. “Unlike a lot of the national chains who sell you what they want to sell we cater to what people actually want.”
