At 16 we were pretty chuffed because we learnt chopsticks on the keyboard. But at 16, Petit Biscuit, a.k.a Mehdi Benjelloun has released an EP that has sent ripples across the electronic music scene.

The Frenchie’s self titled EP features breezy vocal samples over guitars, keys and precessions — which where all played by Benjelloun himself. Benjelloun studied at the Conservatory in France.

The EP was released last week and it’s already reached #1 on the iTunes Electronic Charts in France — needless to say he’s one to look out for.
