After the stitch-up of a lifetime at his expense, Deadmau5 has decided to give his SoundCloud page the boot, cementing the act with a brand new track uploaded to competitor, Spotify.

The track, titled ‘Snowcone‘, is a step in a new direction from the Canadian producer. Deadmau5 goes heavy with the drums, reminiscent of a 90’s hip-hop beat, with some eery instrumental that create a thin layer on top.

Despite the blissful ambience the track creates, fans and haters alike have been giving Deadmau5 a serving for the new song. But as he always done what he likes, I’m certain he won’t care to much.
