With their second studio album, ‘Faraway Reach’, due June 3rd, LA electronic duo Classixx have shared a taste from their album in the form of single, “Safe Inside.”

“Safe Inside” is an up-beat four-minute record, propelled by the bright and bouncy vocals of Michael Angelakos, aka Passion Pit frontman. The dance-heavy track has a positive, groovy atmosphere – guaranteed to make you want to dance.

One half of the duo, Michael David explained why they wanted to work with Passionpit, “Shortly after finishing the instrumental, it occurred to us that Michael would make a great collaborator. We connected, flew to NY, and tracked vocals in Michael’s (Angelakos) living room over a three day period…We had a ton of fun listening to music and realised that we shared almost identical high school influences.”

After releasing a number of highly successful remixes and their critically acclaimed debut album “Hanging Gardens” in 2013, Tyler Blake & Michael David have spent the last two years drawing inspiration from “nostalgic summer nights and breezy beach days in California.”

‘Faraway Reach’ will be released on June 3rd through Future Classic.
