Azealia Banks pulled from Festival for racist and homophobic comments

One of the most outspoken artists on the internet, Azealia Banks has seemingly paid the price for her Twitter rants, being pulled from a headline spot at Rinse FM’s Born & Bred Festival.

The rapper/songwriter is no stranger to causing a stir online, however it seems the last draw was pulled for Rinse FM, who took to social media today to officially announce the removal of Banks from their upcoming festival.

The remarks that led to Banks’ removal were focused towards former One Direction member, Zayn Malik, with a handful of racist and homophobic comments that went beyond just ruffling some feathers this time.

You can find it all on her Twitter page.
