You Can Be Apart Of The First ‘Global’ Synthesizer Project

Moog are introducing the ‘Global Modular’, the latest instalment into the Synth giant’s catalogue, that will connect sounds on a global scale.

The uniquely shaped synth (yes, it is designed like the planet Earth) is a collaborative project with Moog and sound artist Yuri Suzuki, with the aim of bringing together all the different sounds of the world.

So how are they doing this? Moog has put out an open call for “audio adventurers and sonic scouts” to submit field recordings that will be compiled and utilised with the installation of the synth at this year’s Moogfest.

Sound cool? If you think you ahve an ear for cool sounds, you can submit your recordings as audio attachments or though a file transfer service to [email protected]

For now, peep this video and admire that design!
