The official count of submissions for the Callinan review into the lockout laws is back, with over 1,800 submissions being received.

The review kicked off last month, opening the doors for submissions on March 5 and wrapping up at midnight last night. The final count came to 1,856 submissions, just over 10% of the 15,000 person turn out at the Keep Sydney Open rally in February.

Copies of the submissions will be posted on the government website from April 18, unless submissions were marked as private.

Each submission will be taken  into consideration for the review into the lockout laws, and we can expect the final reports to come sometime around August this year!
