Commute Home Proper With This Cut From Jimmy Edgar’s Appearance at Scuba’s XOYO London Residency

Fuck oath. Wednesday afternoon. Only two more sleeps and we’re at Friday. One more work day and then it’s pretty much the weekend, right? If only there was something that could soundtrack this feeling I’m experiencing right now? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

UK legend Scuba has been resident jockey at London’s infamous XOYO club for the last 3 months, dubbing the bout ’12 Weeks of Techno’ – which was a promise he well and truly kept. With heavyweights like Nina Kraviz, Mind Against, Fur Coat, Paul Woodford and way more coming through, FOMO doesn’t describe how saddening it is to have missed it. But, thankfully we’ve got a little piece of it that we wanted to share. Today we’re revisiting a legendary one hour recording from Jimmy Edgar’s appearance in the second week of Scuba’s residency, which is packed to the brim full of bump. With a mix of old, DJ Deeon’s classic ‘Yo Mouf’, and very new material, it’s the perfect thing to see you home this Wednesday afternoon.

Bump it loud in your car, on the bus, on the train, or in your ears as you’re walking down the street, and make the wait for the weekend just that little bit easier, courtesy of Jimmy Edgar.
