Having just in the last year created his own label bitbird, released his Victory EP, collaborated with Yellow claw on " target="_blank">‘Alright’, and done a huge amount of touring all around the world, you’d understand if San Holo was about to ready to slow down. But no, today the Dutch future-bass king has released ‘New Sky’ on Soundcloud, the first track of his upcoming EP of the same name.

Out via Monstercat, ‘New Sky’ is the glittery, punchy and pulsating experience that the world has come to expect of Holo. With three distinct changes throughout the track, generously layered with dreamy synths and jumpy 8-bit, ‘New Sky’ is almost like three perfectly executed remixes of itself. From blissed out and wavey at the start, to jumpy and retro – taking it back to some of San Holo’s older work – and finally super bass driven, you’ll have to constantly be changing the way you move to keep up. If ‘New Sky’ is anything to go by, San Holo’s latest EP should be some of the most varied and exciting stuff we’ve seen from the producer so far.

With a huge tour covering most of North America tying in with the release of the ‘New Sky EP’ on March 11^th, and having not seen him since he was here for Secret Garden 2015, we’ll keep our fingers crossed down under that San Holo pays us a visit sometime soon.
