Flashback Friday: A Classic Weekend Jam Courtesy of The Aston Shuffle

We’ve decided that we need to reminisce on some of the classics over the years in dance music history.

Nothing really goes as hard as a tune that spikes your nostalgia as well as gets you moving. This week, to kick things off, the flashback goes to The Aston Shuffle.

The Sydney based duo – who you may know from their residency on triple j – have been long standing Aussie legends in the electronic music scene, and the track of choice from their catalogue is ‘Your Love’ from their debut album ‘Seventeen past Midnight’ that was released via Ministry Of Sound back in 2011.

However, this track was definitely the Summer jam of 2010, and takes me back to weekend piss-ups in year 11. Arguably the ‘Kings Cup‘ anthem of the year.

The Aston Shuffle are playing at The Met this Saturday, so you Brissy heads should get down and definitely request this O.G. banger.

Have a listen to ‘Your Love’ by The Aston Shuffle below, whip out your fluro Jay Jays tee and enjoy.
