An Ode to Carl Cox: Park & Sons – Uncle Carl

It’s hard to imagine a more fitting ode to the King of Techno than this. Park & Sons’ “Uncle Carl” has all the elements of a tune Carl Cox would love — drama, euphoria, and relentless energy. It was the perfect addition to his recent sets at Ultra Miami and Awakenings.

Park & Sons are an emerging DJ/producer duo from the Netherlands, who aim to inject a unique vitality into the Techno scene. A self-proclaimed “new movement”, they represent “positivity and euphoria instead of darkness and soberness.”

Their inspiration for “Uncle Carl” came specifically from Carl Cox’s " target="_blank">Ibiza Boiler Room set. The original version as well as a dub mix will be released April 4th on their own imprint, Park & Sons Music. Here’s their announcement:
