Any Guesses Which Country Drinks The Most Booze?

While Australia goes through some teething issues when it comes to being able to enjoy a drink or two out and about comes news of a country that slam dunks it when it comes to throwing back a frothy one, and it ain’t the Russians.

It isn’t the Germans either or even the Irish toting the heavyweight belt of consuming on average a dizzying amount of 14 shots of hard liquor weekly.

Any guesses as to who must be feeling a permanent hangover?

Its in fact our Asian neighbours in South Korea that view drinking as normal as a breathing air it seems with the past time reportedly used to help social interactions, breakdown workplace awkwardness and conduct of course conduct business.

With drinks costing around $1 and the local favourite drop ‘Soju’ a bank breaker at $2 while boasting a 20% alcohol content you can understand why South Koreans are the drunkest people around.

Even with these insane number it doesn’t look like violence and drinking are mutually exclusive…. go figure!

Join us at the Keep Sydney Open rally this Sunday to protest against the archaic lockout laws stifling Sydneys nightlife culture.
