It appears that the 2015 rumours were true, and LCD Soundsystem are in fact making a resurgence. The Coachella line up was officially announced yesterday, with LCD Soundsystem headlining one of the biggest festivals in the world after their five-year hiatus.
They disbanded on the 2nd April 2011, with their farewell concert at Madison Square Garden lasting almost four hours. The final song “New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down” is definitely one for the ages.
