Daniel Avery – Sensation

Daniel Avery‘s debut album ‘-fV_mIuEk8jGwKFEpns-m">Drone Logic‘ was easily one of the most complete albums in underground dance music for 2013 – seamlessly fusing acid house and techno. His latest offering ‘Sensation‘ is the first piece of original solo material from Avery since ‘Drone Logic.’

‘Sensation’ ends the wait for new material in some style. A slow building record that seemingly explores the depths of techno through minimal percussive elements and a section of swelling distorted strings, with melodic content being provided through an acid house pluck.

‘Sensation / Clear’ will be released through Phantasy Sound on the 27th of November. You can catch Avery playing Let Them Eat Cake in Melbourne on the 1st of Jan, as well as Lost Paradise in NSW on the 29th to the 31st.
