Check the thumping second lineup for the FBi SMACs Festival

Music festival brainchild of the local legends over at Sydney’s FBi Radio, the SMACs Festival has just been given a second round lineup that’s punchy, flavoursome and just a little bit political.

Joining the already über special linuep (that included friends such as power twins Cosmo’s Midnight, Black Vanilla, Dro Carey and Fishing amongst others) are a whole host of Sydney-based talents. Leading the charge is electro-dreamboat Wave Racer, followed by dance acts Moonbase Commander and Ribongia who will be ensuring the FBi Click Rave Cave gets nice n slizzy. Also joining the bill is everyone’s favourite jiggy MP, DJ Albo who, in his first festival appearance, will be shaking off the political grind of being Federal Member for Grayndler and utilising the bump n’ grind to keep crowds entertained between bands.

The festival builds on the ethos of the hugely successful annual FBi SMACs Awards, which celebrates Sydney’s creative visionaries and others who keep Sydney’s creative heart beating. Despite a tricky cultural times, there’s still much to celebrate, support and nurture.

It all goes down at Carrigeworks January 10th running from midday until 10pm with tickets starting at $49 + bf for first release and even cheaper still if you’re an FBi support at $39 + bf – get ’em here. Don’t forget to vote for your favourite creatives in the SMAC awards here.
