Mountain Sounds First Lineup Announcement is Here

After completely selling out last year, boasting Carmada, The Kite String Tangle, Kilter and Tkay Maidza on the lineup (just to name a few), this week saw the first lineup announcement for Mountain Sounds Festival 2016 – we’ve got no doubt it’ll sell out too.

It’s set to be the perfect blend of local producers and bands, with internationals Jack Beats of the UK bringing their thick bassed house to the stage, and Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes in full serenade mode. Local acts Slumberjack, Set Mo, Odd Mob, Motez, Nina Las Vegas – probably with plenty more original tunes following her departure from triple J, and one of Future Classic’s latest signings World Champion are all on the bill.

Held at the Mount Penang Parklands on the Central Coast, Mountain Sounds is only an hour’s drive away from the heart of Sydney. This year it’s happening on the 20th of February, just as Summer closes. What better way to say goodbye to the warmer months than by living it up and camping in the warmth one last time? Make it quick though, early birds have already sold out, and this is only the first lineup announcement, with the second coming in January.

Get tickets here, check the full lineup below, and keep it locked here for that second lineup announcement.
