We’ve been keeping close tabs on the Chicago natives Louis The Child, who have had an impressive year of standout releases and even managing to snag a support slot on Madeon’s US tour earlier in the year. Serving up their own style of electronic music that combines innovative beat production, soulful melodies and soothing vocals, the chi-town duo have returned with their latest single ‘It’s Strange’, a bouncy slow jam that is as sticky as bubble gum. On board with the vocals is K.Flay, a former major label protégé who has ventured out and found her strengths on this gem of a track. Finding it’s place somewhere between future bass and tropical house (although it really is neither), the track has clocked up over 400k plays in 3 days. Not bad for a couple of legends who are still establishing themselves on the global stage.

And better yet, the track has been added to the FIFA 16 playlist, so expect to hear more of this in the near future.
